Do or Die: A Major Recalibration Now Taking Place
For the past few months, I have been deeply reflective of the current state of world affairs. Nothing has been left untouched by the forces of great change. Furthermore, it has spotlighted how I view the world and my place in it. I am reminded of the quote by Anais Nin: "We don't see things as they are; we see them as we are." I realized it was time for a major re-calibration when I saw things for how they were and not for how I wanted them to be.
The best metric I know about how we see the world comes from paying attention to how often we react versus act. When I act, I am coming from the truth of who I am and the love of what I am being and doing. When I react, I am coming from a false idea of myself (a lie) and the fear that the false self will die. With this turn of the evolutionary spiral, I have never felt so free. There's a total relief. I now acknowledge in my heart and soul that I know little to nothing.
